Cheaper Child Care

We know that families are feeling the pressure from rising costs of living.

That's why the Albanese Labor Government is making child care cheaper. From July 1st, we've increased the Child Care Subsidy - cutting the cost of child care for over 30, 400 Canberra families.

• It means more money in the pockets of families.
• More parents - especially mums - can work more paid hours if they want.
• And it means more children get the best start in life with early childhood education.

Making child care cheaper is good for children, and it's good for families.

And it's one of the ways we're delivering real cost of living relief for Canberrans.
