Policy Committee Meetings

Policy Committees are where members with a passion for policy can meet, discuss, debate and create policy. To join a policy committee contact the committee and ask to be added to their circulation list and begin attending their meetings.

Other bodies of the branch whose members are made up of specific groups within the party include Young Labor, the Indigenous Labor Network and the Status of Women committee.

Membership of Young Labor, the Indigenous Labor Network and Status of Women committee are based on the following criteria: 

  • Young Labor: a member under the age of 27
  • Indigenous Labor Network: a member who identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • Status of Women: a member who is a woman
